Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Second Leader ("we," "us") collects on secondleader.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what is needed to sell and deliver the course, we never sell your data, and you can reach a human at eric@secondleader.com.

1. What we collect

• Purchase details. Your name and email address, entered at checkout. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor; they never touch our servers and we never see them.
• Checkout-in-progress details. If you enter your email at checkout and do not finish, we store the email you entered so we can send you a reminder (see section 3).
• Usage and advertising data. Like most sites that advertise, we use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API, which involve cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and standard technical data like IP address and browser type, used to measure ads and site activity. Campaign parameters (UTM tags) from the link you clicked may be stored in your browser and attached to your purchase record so we know which ad brought you.
• Course access cookie. After purchase, a functional cookie (sl_course) keeps you signed in to the course area. It is required for the course to work.

2. How we use it

To process your payment, deliver your course access, respond to support requests, send transactional email about your purchase, send marketing email you can opt out of, and measure which advertising works. That is the whole list.

3. Email

Purchase and access emails are transactional. If you start checkout and do not finish, we may send a short series of reminder emails; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops marketing email without affecting your course access. We do not sell or rent your email address.

4. Who processes data for us

We use a small set of service providers to run the business: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (site hosting and course delivery), LeadConnector/HighLevel (our CRM and email sending), and Meta (advertising measurement). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

5. Retention

Purchase records are kept as long as needed for accounting and to honor your lifetime course access. Checkout-in-progress emails that never become purchases are used only for the short reminder series and routine CRM housekeeping.

6. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message.
• Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing eric@secondleader.com. Deleting purchase records may end course access, and some records must be retained where the law requires.
• Control advertising cookies through your browser settings and through Meta's own ad preferences.

7. Children

The site and course are for working professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes and contact
